1. Definition
Pipe reducers are indispensable pipe fittings designed to reduce pipeline nominal diameter, enabling transition between different pipe sizes to adjust flow velocity in piping systems.
2. Two Core Types
- Concentric Reducer（同心异径管）
Centerlines of large & small bore align straight, for vertical/straight horizontal pipelines.
- Eccentric Reducer（偏心异径管）
One side flat tangent, avoids air pocket accumulation, widely used on horizontal liquid pipelines to prevent vapor lock.
