Power plant piping runs hot: main steam, reheat, feedwater and extraction lines demand alloy fittings, precise dimensions and weld quality that survives thermal cycling. We supply fittings and flanges for thermal and combined-cycle plants.
Power Cycle Fitting Packages
- Main steam – WP11/WP22 (1.25Cr/2.25Cr-Mo) elbows and tees, SCH80-160, RTJ or RF weld necks
- Feedwater lines – A234 WPB/A105, SCH80, eccentric reducers flat-side-down at pump suctions
- Condenser cooling water – large-diameter plate and slip-on flanges, caps on dead legs
- Heater passes – 180° return bends for tube circuits
- Drains and vents – tapped blinds with boss reinforcement
High-Temperature Notes
Chrome-moly grades (F11: 1.25Cr-0.5Mo, F22: 2.25Cr-1Mo) keep strength above 500°C where carbon steel creeps. Preheat and post-weld heat treatment follow the alloy – we supply fittings with the correct chemistry per EN 10204 3.1 and can arrange hardness/heat-treatment documentation for 3.2 release. Thermal cycling makes joint integrity critical: full-penetration butt welds on B16.9 fittings, properly torqued RTJ or RF flanges, and spectacle blinds for isolation during outages.
FAQs
Can you supply P91 fittings? Grade 91 requires strict chemistry and heat treatment control – discuss quantity and delivery; we review case by case.
Outage support? Common sizes in alloy and carbon ship fast; send the outage BOM early and we reserve stock. Contact us.

Feedwater & Cooling Side Fittings
Feedwater pumps need eccentric reducers flat-side-down to prevent cavitation at the impeller. Condenser cooling lines run large diameters (24″-60″) where welded fittings from plate are the economical route. Butt weld caps close dead legs; drains and vents take tapped blinds with reinforcement bosses for higher classes.
Ordering for Outage Windows
Plant outages are date-driven: a late fitting set slips the whole restart. Send the BOM early – we reserve stock, prioritize production, and can air-ship critical pieces. Every item ships stamped (size/schedule/grade/heat) with EN 10204 3.1; 3.2 inspection arranged before packing so site QC accepts the crate on arrival.
