Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel Reducers
A carbon steel concentric reducer, including ASTM A234 WPB, is widely specified for pressure piping and general industrial service. For applications requiring corrosion resistance, a stainless steel concentric reducer in ASTM A403 WP304 or WP316L may be selected. Alloy steel grades such as A234 WP11 and WP22 are also available for applicable high-temperature service requirements.

Concentric vs. Eccentric Reducer
